TEAM - CRAIG CORRELL

Dr. Correll joined Hyku Biosciences in March of 2023. He has more than 20 years of small molecule drug discovery experience in both big pharma and biotech settings. Prior to joining the company, he was Vice President of Biology at Theonys and served as Executive Director of Early Discovery Portfolio at Valo Health, where he managed a diverse portfolio of over 12 programs across three therapeutic areas while integrating machine learning capabilities to create a more efficient drug discovery process. He held increasing roles of responsibility and leadership within both Schering-Plough and Merck where he contributed to numerous drug discovery projects from target identification up to and including clinical candidate nomination, successfully putting both a small molecule and a biologic into clinical trials. He holds a PhD in Biological Chemistry from UCLA and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at California Institute of Technology.
